Accepting Scholarship Applications for 2022-2023 Academic Year

Student Disability Services (SDS) is currently accepting applications for two scholarships through February 4, 2022. Below is a summary of each scholarship:

 The Robert L. and Helen Johnson scholarship

•       Amount: $1000
•       Number of Awards: 2
•       Application Period: November 1, 2021 – February 4, 2022
•       Disbursement Period: Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 Semesters
•       Eligibility: Full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate UTK student with a documented disability

The Students with Visual Disabilities Scholarship

•       Amount: $1,500
•       Number of Awards: 3
•       Application Period: November 1, 2021 – February 4, 2022
•       Disbursement Period:  Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 Semesters
•       Eligibility: Full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate UTK student with a documented disability. Although the scholarship gives preference to students with visual disabilities, students with other documented disabilities are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the award.
