Faculty Advisory Board

The Faculty Advisory Board was established in fall 2019 with the purpose of assisting SDS with the following:

  1. Counsel and advise SDS on ways to support faculty in relation to the provision of services for students with disabilities
  2. Facilitate communication between SDS and academic units
  3. Enhance awareness and understanding of disability-related services
  4. Serve as a point of contact and a resource to other faculty members
  5. Adopt the creation of an inclusive environment free of barriers and bias

The board is comprised of faculty with a variety of experience with SDS from each college.
