The Faculty Advisory Board was established in fall 2019 with the purpose of assisting SDS with the following:
- Counsel and advise SDS on ways to support faculty in relation to the provision of services for students with disabilities
- Facilitate communication between SDS and academic units
- Enhance awareness and understanding of disability-related services
- Serve as a point of contact and a resource to other faculty members
- Adopt the creation of an inclusive environment free of barriers and bias
The board is comprised of faculty with a variety of experience with SDS from each college.
