Robert L. & Helen Johnson (RHJ) Scholarship
Overview
Through generous contributions made by Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, the Robert L. & Helen Johnson scholarship was established to assist students with disabilities in furthering their education.

- Application Period: October 14, 2024 – February 7, 2025
- Disbursement Period: Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Semesters
- Eligibility: Full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate UTK student with a documented disability
Students with Visual Disability Scholarship
Overview
Through generous contributions made by local service membership organizations dedicated to improving communities and encouraging leadership, a scholarship program was established for students with visual disabilities.
Details
- Amount: $3,000
- Number of Awards: 5
- Application Period: October 14, 2024 – February 7, 2025
- Disbursement Period: Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Semesters
- Eligibility: Full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate UTK student with a documented disability. Although the scholarship gives preference to students with visual disabilities, students with other documented disabilities are encouraged to apply and will be considered for awards.
UT Haslam College of Business
Scholarships for Students with Learning Disabilities
The Haslam College of Business has two scholarships, the Roland C. Van Dorselaer Scholarship and the Dale and LaVerne Culbertson Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship, available for business students with documented learning disabilities. To be considered, students must have completed the university’s general scholarship application.
