Prospective Students

Thank you for considering the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for your postsecondary education. Student Disability Services (SDS) is available to ensure equitable participation in the college experience for students with disabilities. Prospective students are encouraged to review the information below prior to registering with SDS.

Admissions Process

The university has a competitive admission process and all students must meet the admissions criteria to be considered eligible for entrance.  Student Disability Services is not involved in the admissions process, and students are not required to disclose that they have a disability when applying for admittance. To learn more about the admissions criteria and how to apply to UTK, please visit the undergraduate admissions or graduate admissions webpages.
