Student Disability Services acquired a new data management system to better streamline requests for accommodations and services. Some of the key features include:
- Ability to receive notification via text message regarding exams, alternative format, note taking, and transcribing services
- Integrated process to request and receive materials in alternative format
- Ability to review and modify course specific accommodations
- Ability to review and sign E-Form Agreements
The system is scheduled to be released this summer on a limited basis, and full implementation will occur in the fall. As such, faculty accommodation letters for fall 2020 will not be issued until the new system is in place. If you are enrolled in summer courses, you may still request your letters via the Student Portal. Video tutorials and training sessions will be developed to help students navigate this new system, so stay tuned for more information.
