Biography
James Harrison facilitates communication for students with hearing disabilities. He studied in the Interpreter Training Program at the University of TN, Knoxville, slightly over a quarter of a century ago. He then went out into the world to ply his craft in a variety of settings, including theatre, public education, video relay, and community interpreting, only to return in 2006 to the University as full-time staff. He strives to approach his career and personal life with emphasizing respect and good humor.
He is also involved heavily in performing arts, including music, theatre, and dance.
