The Peer Mentor of the Year award was created to recognize one of Student Disability Services’ peer mentors who has presented exceptional qualities and actions in supporting SDS and its students while upholding the mission statement of SDS to promote disability-inclusive diversity.
This award recognizes the efforts and dedication that our mentors have shown while working with new students at the university. This individual has gone above and beyond by assisting their mentee with the transition to college life, while also being an exceptional role model and resource.
